Invited for the first time as curator, David Douard presents a group exhibition conceived as an environment bringing together artists of different generations and diverse practices.
Their artistic production—whether in the form of quasi-ready-made objects, sound pieces, furniture, sculptures, paintings or photographs—has, sometimes for many years, influenced the work and sensibility of David Douard, who became known for installations marked by a powerful relationship with reality.
While it isn't unprecedented for his practice to display this specific link to the work of his peers, the exhibition also reveals the way in which a particular creative "energy" is diffused in the form of a singular environment of proximities and influences.
With Clémentine Adou, Marie Angeletti, Grichka Commaret, Guillaume Dénervaud, Pascal Doury, Garance Früh, Gabriele Garavaglia, Isa Genzken, Morag Keil, Benjamin Lallier, Mélody Lu, James Richards and Pascale Theodoly.
